Ashton Court (Bristol):
Mansion House environs: 3 Green Woodpecker, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 12 Jackdaw (collecting deer fur for nesting), 6 Swallow, 4 Blackcap, 2 Song Thrush, 1 Mistle Thrush. 

Oldbury Power Station:
4 Whimbrel through, 1 Cuckoo, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Swallow, 6 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap, 21 Whitethroat, 1 Grasshopper Warbler, 3 Reed Warbler, 2 Wheatear.

East Harptree:
A39/B3135 junction: 1 Barn Owl behaving very oddly by wandering around the road in full view of traffic (which had to stop) before flying off to the Waldegrave Estate. later, it came back and gave a similar repeat performance (Donna Morrison). ST59167 52389.
The bird did not appear to be sick or injured in any way.
