Peregrine Alert
This is a crucial time for our local Peregrines as the young take to the wing.  Sadly there are individuals who will attempt to interfere with these vulnerable birds and we ask for readers' help in reporting anything suspicious near known Peregrine nests.   Most city centre sites have passers-by for most of the day but early mornings are quieter so if you normally walk or could detour near these sites be alert to anyone acting suspiciously and any associated vehicles.  Do not confront them but contact the police with as much information as possible.  The following is a direct link to the Wildlife Crime Officers:

Reports: CVRS, Paul Francis, Simon Galloway, Peter Hazelwood, Rod Holbrook, Mike Jackson, Andrew Sardeman, Vic Savery, Marcus Smith, Ian Stapp, Mrs Trellis
