Yate:
Waxwing in garden at The Ridge this morning.

Cattle Egrets still at Toghill today (Christopher Teague)
Toghill (A420 east of Wick/north of Bath):
The 2 Cattle Egrets were still present today.

Oldbury Power Station:
1 Grey Plover, 2 Ringed Plover, 15 Oystercatcher, c20 Redshank, c200 Curlew, c1000 Dunlin, 300+ Lapwing, 7 Snipe, 2 Rock Pipit.

Littleton Warth (WeBS count):
40 Canada Goose, 4 Shoveler, Grey Heron, 4 Oystercatcher, 2 Grey Plover, 100+ Dunlin, 110 Curlew, Jack Snipe, 49 Redshank, 2 Turnstone, 2 Raven, 6 Rock Pipit. 

New Passage/Northwick:
3 Grey Heron, Snipe, Grey Wagtail, Redwing, Fieldfare, 16 Long-tailed Tit.

R Avon at Sea Mills:
1 Shelduck, 24 Mallard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 3 Grey Heron, 60 Redshank, 15 Dunlin, 4 Common Sandpiper, 20 Lapwing, 9 Snipe, 162 BH Gull, 5 LBB Gull, 2 Common Gull, 6 Herring Gull, 77 Woodpigeon (nr river), 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, pr Stonechat.

Portbury Wharf:
ad winter Little Gull still present on north lake.

Clevedon-Yeo:
Mouth of the Yeo: Teal, Wigeon, 8 Shoveler.  Peregrine chasing 1500 Dunlin. 10 Grey Plover, 15 Turnstone. Cetti's Warbler singing (Blake's Pool).

Albino Blackbird at Uphill (Paul Cousins)

1 Kestrel, f. Black Redstart (on cliff face under the grafitti), albino Blackbird, 14 Song Thrush, 1 Redwing, 2 Goldcrest, 11 Dunnock, 4 Linnet, 9 Bullfinch.

18 Shoveler, pr Goosander, 1 Little Egret, 10 Common Gull.

Banwell:
A Chiffchaff and 2 Goldcrest with Long-tailed Tit flock.

Barrow Tanks (WeBS count):
42 Mallard, 13 Gadwall, 64 Teal, 2 Shoveler, 14 Pochard, 96 Tufted Duck, Long-tailed Duck (1W m. on nr 3 tank), 15 Little Grebe, 9 Great Crested Grebe, 161 Cormorant, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 157 Coot, 13 Snipe, 25 Lapwing, 2 Common Sandpiper.

Chew Valley Lake:
If all the reports are accurate, there are at least 2 male and 2 female Scaup still present.

Dam:3 Scaup (1m, 2f), 5 Goldeneye.

Bittern Trail:
drake Ring-necked Duck.

Woodford:
7 Goldeneye, 2 Goosander, 1 Kingfisher.

Villice/Nunnery:
1 Great White Egret, 1 Black-necked Grebe, Common Sandpiper.

Heron's Green:
1 f. Goosander, 1 Bittern (10.50 briefly in reeds, left side of bay), 2 Scaup (2 m, 1 f), 1 Great White Egret, 1 Little Egret, 1 Green Sandpiper, ad Mediterranean Gull, 2 Stonechat. 

Moreton:
5 Bewick's Swan, 4 Goldeneye, 1 Buzzard, 1 Green Woodpecker,  2 Stonechat.

Herriotts Bridge:
2 Bewick's Swan (main lake), 16 Shelduck, 8 Pintail, 1 Great White Egret, 2 ad Yellow-legged Gull, 3 Reed Bunting.

BOC Photo competition - open to BOC members, Deadline extended to 21st January
Entries for the 50th anniversary photo competition must arrive no later than Saturday 21st January 2017. They need to be posted to Richard Belson, 4 Birdlip Close, Nailsea, BS48 4TG. Entry is by print as in the BBC Countryfile calendar competition. Prints may be up to A4 size. On the back of each print please put the following information:
Class (class 1, Avon Bird Report area, class 2, club holidays and weekends)
