The Short-eared Owl Show: up to 4 birds and at least 20 cars with spectators late afternoon. Also again one lone photographer right out on the saltmarsh, potentially disturbing the birds while hunting as well as spoiling things for everyone else

St Mark's Church: Jemima Parry-Jones of, inter alia, @ICBPNewent fame, recommended we increase the depth of gravel in the nest box this year. Here tiercel AA appears to be intrigued by the depth of the foxhole his good lady falcon has crafted.

Chew Valley Ringing Station:
An occasional visitor to CVRS turned up again - a Robin ringed here as an immature bird in Sept 2014; it was around during Jan and Feb 2015 but wasn't seen again until July 2017 during its post-breeding moult. Also seen here in Jan this year.
