1 Stone-curlew (Matt Hobbs) - only 4th Severnside record,  2 Whimbrel, 1 Golden Plover, 3 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Greenshank, Sedge Warbler, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Wheatear (evening), Yellow Wagtail inc 1 male Ashy-headed Wagtail (Brian Lancastle), 25 White Wagtail, Tree Pipit, 1 Water Pipit, 1 Redpoll 

NB Ashy-headed Wagtail (Motacilla flava cinereocapilla ) is the form of Yellow Wagtail breeding in Italy, Sicily and Sardinia. This appears to be the first record of this race in Avon.

14 distant sterna Tern in evening - majority appeared to be Common with 2 Arctic.

Late update: 3 Common Tern, 14 Arctic distantly in middle of lake - 8 birds seen to arrive - evidently some coming and going

Ringing Station:
Birds with histories: A f Blackcap ringed here as a juv last summer turned up this morning. And from yesterday, a female Chaffinch ringed as a nestling in 2015 was recaptured - she was also aound as a breeder in 2016
