Mid-day: 2 Little Egret, 4 Cormorant 11 Moorhen, 1 Oystercatcher, 2 Ringed Plover, 1 Curlew, 10 Dunlin, 1 Redshank, 200 Black-headed Gull, 2 Common Gull.

New Passage/Northwick:
Wader Flock 20th July 2018 NP (Lisa Presland)
3 Little Grebe, Little Ringed Plover, 2 Whimbrel, 42 Black-tailed Godwit, Green Woodpecker.

NORTH SOMERSET

Sand Point/Bay:
9 Swallow, 16 House Martin, and a Willow Warbler in the car park. (Northward bound, in the prevailing wind)

BELOW M4 & BANES

Priddy:

1 Crossbill - although it was photographed in Somerset. It flew into N Somerset shortly after - a good tick.

Blagdon Lake:

Litton Reservoir:
1 Common Sandpiper, 3 Grey Wagtail.

Chew Valley Lake - combined report:

196 Canada Goose, 64 Mute Swan, 1 Black Swan, 3 Egyptian Geese,  2 Little Grebe, 2 Great White Egret (usual ad and a juv, which flew off towards Blagdon), 4 Little Egret (1 juv), 4 Buzzard,  19 Lapwing, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 ad Dunlin, 1 Ruff, 5 Common Sand, 8 Green Sand, 2 Med Gull (juv), 1 Common Gull, 7 Great Black-backed Gull, 2 Yellow-legged Gull (juv and 3rd cyr) 2 Collared Dove, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Kestrel, 7 Sand Martin, 10+ Swallows, 9 House Martins, 2 Cetti's Warbler, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Song Thrush, 1 Grey Wagtail, 3 Reed Bunting.
