Cool start (bird bath had ice on it), sunny and good temperature for time of year. Cloud later.

Redwing and Fieldfare arriving back in numbers. Short-eared Owls too. Brambling and possible Glossy Ibis

Richard Bland
It is sad to report that Richard died on 30th October, surrounded by his family. Richard will be known to many from his work with the BTO, the Downs, Bristol Nats, the BOC, and much more. There will be a memorial service in January, details of the service and an obituary to follow.

probable Glossy Ibis (picked up at a distance, in flight @ about 14.00, very distant (coming from NE) but pretty much nothing else it could’ve been)
