31-05-19  Peregrine fledgling TX, St John's Church, Bath (BUPP)
Bath:
St John's Church - TX (f), which left the nest box backwards on 18 May having ‘won’ a tug o’ war over a piece of food, was returned to the nest box today. In the interim, she has been in the tender care of @ICBPNewent whose excellent work has brought her to full fitness for release. Although uninjured, the decision was taken not to return TX on 18 May as there was a high probability that the disturbance could have caused other eyasses to leave the nest. TX appears to have been accepted readily back into the fold today by parents and siblings alike.
This is another excellent result on the part of Jemima Parry-Jones and her team at Newent. We cannot thank @ICBPNewent enough for the sterling support, in the forms of advice, rehabilitation and pre-release conditioning which they continue to provide to Bath Peregrines.
