1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 4 House Martin, 1 Swallow, 1 Goldcrest, 6 Goldfinch, 12 mixed Blue and Great Tit, 6 Long-tailed Tit.


Littleton Warth:
1 Avocet (south side of the pill), 1 Whimbrel to north (John Sanders)

Aust Warth:
2 Kestrel

New Passage/Northwick Warth:
5 Wheatear, 45 Yellow Wagtail including an almost monochrome bird, Greenshank, 2 Coal Tit, Whitethroat, 160+ Black-tailed Godwit (1 colour ringed), 8 Knot, 7+ Snipe, 8+ Blackcap,
2 Reed Warbler, 2 new broods of Little Grebe. Plus Ruff, Swift, Green Sandpiper and Whinchat later

8am-9-30. 11 Little Egrets, 8+ Blackcaps, 3 Whitethroat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat and Wheatear

6-8:30: Woodchat Shrike, 2 Tree Pipit, 11 Yellow Wagtail,  2 Wheatear, 10+ Whinchat, 10+ Redstart, Lesser Whitethroats

Chew Valley Lake:

Great views of Osprey fishing up to Herriotts and back down past Stratford, then catching a small fish off Moreton at 16:15. No sign of Wood Sandpiper at Herriotts - or anywhere else.
