This male Sparrowhawk was retrieved from Trendlewood Avenue in Nailsea. It was initially lying still in the road and appeared to have hit or been hit by a car. I picked it up and transferred it to the verge. After sitting with it for 20-30 minutes it gradually recovered and was able to fly off
