25-05-25 Sunday - Spotted Sandpiper

Temp 14°C to 17°C - cloudy, with some showers and some sun, and a moderate to strong W/WSW wind.

Spotted Sandpiper - 6th Avon record, first since 2018, and the 4th Chew record, first since 2012. Bird was seen on the wall, sluice and mud of Herriot's Pool. If on the wall it can go in and out of view. 

As it is an otherwise quiet birding day, I have included a lot of photos of this stunning bird from our fantastic local birding community, and as of course I am away at the moment so enjoyed seeing them all-I hope you do too.
