Bob Brewer, West Scotland, June to July 2019
Several sites had similar birds e.g. Handa Island, Lunga Island and Dunnet Head all had Puffins, Razorbill, Guillemot and Fulmar.
If anyone is planning a trip I would be happy to provide details on the site locations, access etc.
I use the guide "Where to Watch Birds in the UK" plus the RSPB guide and generally just talking to other folks when on the road.

Bob Brewer, Dawlish Warren, 16th August 2017<
I took a look at the Dawlish Warren NNR near Exeter. Good for sea birds and waders plus a few heath birds. Free but you need to park in the large car-park under the railway bridge near Dawlish Warren station. Walk eastwards past the NNR Visitor Centre and the golf course and you come to a shore with a large bird hide on the left. Aim to be there an hour or so either side of high tide. (Check the Exmouth tide table). Lots of Sandwich and Common terns, Med Gulls, Snipe, Godwit, Oystercatcher, Dunlin, Turnstone, Kestrel, Cirl Bunting etc
Bob Brewer, Steart Marshes, 9th August 2017
Spent an interesting afternoon at Steart Marshes (nr Bridgewater) yesterday.
The main scrape is dry but from the Quantock Hide and the River Parrett there is a fair bit to see.
Oystercatcher, Avocets with chicks, Spoonbill by the river, at least 40 little egret, swallow, sandpiper and large flocks of Goldfinch around the car parks.
