Littleton Brick Pits AWT Reserve:
Details from 4 ringing visits between 29/9 and 10/10: 167 birds trapped of 13 species, with 117 new and 50 re-traps. Chiffchaff (33) and Goldfinch (44) dominated proceedings with 0 and 16 re-traps respectively.

Visible migration this morning, 07:30 - 09:50 (Matt Hobbs): 3 Shelduck, 6 Cormorant, 3 Black Tailed Godwit, 3 Skylark, 74 Starling, 265 Redwing, 2 Song Thrush, 66 Pied/White Wagtail, 5 Meadow Pipit, 1030 Chaffinch, 25 Greenfinch, 94 Linnet, 4 Lesser Redpoll, 155 Goldfinch, 3 Siskin, 2 Reed Bunting

Doing it's best not to be seen on Northwick Warth this morning

New Passage/Northwick Warth:
Visible migration this morning: 1 Fieldfare, 10 Redwing, 220 Chaffinch, 1 Brambling, 3 Bullfinch

Bradley Stoke, Three Brooks Nature Reserve:
20 Teal, 3 Little Grebe (adults now chasing away the juvenile), 2 Grey Wagtail

Willsbridge:
40 Canada Geese (over)

Huntingford, Little Avon River:
Grey Wagtail, 3+ Siskin

Cameley, North Somerset:
1 Peregrine (roosting in an oak tree, much to the annoyance of the local crows), 4 Crows, 1 Blackcap, 1 Chiffchaff, a mini influx of robins and goldfinches to the area and the local swallows seem to have departed for warmer climes
