Rain (good for the lakes) and then brightening up this afternoon.

All the drama was at Blagdon Lake (see http://www.blagdonlakebirds.com/ Daily News)
including 2 adult Red-crested Pochard, 2 Scaup, 3 Bewick's Swan
Bewick's SwanRing-necked Duck and Black-necked Grebe at Chew
Record count of 38 Little Egret, 24 Great White Egret at Heron's Green at Chew

New Passage:
48 Canada Geese, 1000 Wigeon, 110 Teal, 8 Tufted Duck, 2 Little Egret, 120 Lapwing, 70 Knot,

Backwell Lake:

Wick Green Point:

Villice:
3 Scaup (2 juv male and a female)
Heron's Green:
24 Great White Egret, 38 Little Egrets (record count), 2 Dunlin, 9 Grey Heron, 2 Jack Snipe, 
6 Snipe, 4 Water Rail, 2 Goosander, 2 Common Snipe ,1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Sparrowhawk,
5 Little Grebe (bay), 2 Reed Bunting, 2 Stonechat,  30+ Pied Wagtail (collecting together on the wall)
Moreton:
1 Water Rail, 1 Kingfisher , (2 Coal Tit,  23 Long-tailed Tit, 7 Great Tit, 4 Blue Tit, 15 Chaffinch trees car park),  
50+ Redwing (cottage trees) 100 + Pied Wagtail (dropping in to the Elephant Grass to roost)
6 small flocks of Starling with from 30 to 100 birds in each heading towards Stratford past the hide to roost. About 350 birds all together
