From Birdtrack: Hawfinch is a scarce breeder in Britain (500 to 1000 pairs). Hawfinch migration is noted every Autumn. Records this year report 12 times higher numbers than the historical average.

(Starlings pre roosting on pylons. Some very close to the Buzzard, but none on the pylon with the Peregrine!)
