09-06-26 Tuesday

Temp 10°C to 17°C - some heavy showers to start, sunnier later. The W/SW wind increased as the day went on, with gusts to 34mph.

It has been great to see all the breeding evidence or records being submitted to us, or put on Bird Track or eBird. Please do log whatever you can. For some species like Willow Warbler, Dipper and many others we are often short of breeding info when we try to write the Avon Bird Report. Obviously the safety of nests and birds is paramount. Any breeding you notice that can be recorded safely and without distrubance is really helpful for any species, especially as the country gears up for the next Breeding Atlas which is not too far away.
