01-07-18 Sunday- Pied Crow still

The warm spell continues, though largely overcast today and distinctly sultry. Even a few drops of rain in north-west Bristol around tea-time.

Chew Valley Ringing Station:
Juvenile Reed Warblers have been turning up recently, some of which were ringed in the nest. It's around 3 weeks between ringing and recapture for nests in the general vicinity of the nets making circa 2 weeks since leaving the nest - 2 weeks before starting to explore the reedbed.
