2 Jay, 1 Robin - 05:00 singing the autumn song - already!

Kings Drive:
1 or 2 Common Sandpiper - calling, heading South  - while ISS watching, just past midnight.

Henleaze:
Screaming Swifts still

St Phillips:
5 Sand Martin around nest site on the Feeder.

Pilning wetland:
13 Little Egret, 60 Lapwing, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 60+ Black-tailed Godwit, 5 Turnstone, 400+ Dunlin,  2 Common Sand,  & 1st Green Sandpiper for the year, 140 Redshank.

Settled back on the scrape following its clearance, by a female Sparrowhawk, after catching and drowning a Redshank - stood on it, 'til it moved no more!

2 Buzzard, 1 Little Owl, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Green Woodpecker, 5 Jay, 1 Swallow, 1 singing Willow Warbler (hasn’t been present since April), 2 Chiffchaff, 4 Blackcap including 2 juvs, 1 Whitethroat, 4 Bullfinch including 2 juvs.
The barley was cut yesterday; today was the first time, this summer, that Skylark didn't sing from that field.
