Swallows unusually looking up into the rain in a storm (Bob Medland)
Cameley:
During a violent rainstorm, the last weekend of August, about 100 Swallows hunkered down on our telephone wire and tv aerial. They had been pursuing flies and then were ‘downed’ by the sudden heavy rain. Note their odd pose, facing up and into the wind and rain.
