Temp 15 down to 10℃. 1 cm of rain. Guess pretty similar to mine in Portland, wet and windy

14-10-18 Stonechat at Oldbury Power Station (Matt Plenty)
Oldbury Power Station:
5+ Stonechat, Cetti's and a big count of 17 Moorhen 

Northwick Warth/New Passage:
1 Water Rail 'cussing' in the Grebe Pond reed bed, 1 Sparrowhawk - causing all the fuss, it kept 11 Snipe in the air at one time, and spooked 12 Skylark.

NORTH SOMERSET

Clevedon, Wain's Hill:
One Meadow Pipit and 6 Chaffinch battled through in an hour's vismig

Banwell, Winthill:
1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Nuthatch, 4 Bullfinch, including 2 juveniles, a single Brambling among a mass of Goldfinches numbering 34, our biggest ever count

Bath, Pulteney Gardens:
4 Mute Swans, 3 cygnets, 1 Mallard, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorants, 1 Kingfisher

Bath, Southgate by Apple:
100+ Pied Wagtails already in winter roost

Bath, Walcot Gate - River Side:
Probable Yellow-browed Warbler in huge mixed tit-flock along the trees by the river! Counted 90+ birds.
Paulton:
1 Buzzard, 150 Herring / Lesser Black-backed Gull, 120 Woodpigeon, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Kestrel, 2 Raven, 12 Skylark, 6 Meadow Pipit, 7 Yellowhammer
