1 Jay, 2 Goldcrest, 1 Nuthatch (of note in the garden this evening)

New Passage/Northwick:
many Wigeon, 3 Water Rail, many Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Snipe, 1 Common Sandpiper, 500+ Starling (reeds to roost), 2 Stonechat (f+m), 10 Meadow Pipit, 1 Rock Pipit, 100+ Linnet.

NORTH SOMERSET

Portishead, Woodhill Bay:
1 Little Egret - mid-day.

Paulton:
2 Mute Swan, 28 Mallard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Buzzard, 4 Moorhen, 1 Jay, 1 Coal Tit, 2 Goldcrest,
1 Treecreeper, 10 Goldfinch

BELOW M4 & BANES

Newton Park:
6 Mute Swan, 40 Mallard, 10 Teal, 2 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorant, 1 Buzzard, 6 Moorhen, 7 BH Gull
2 Jay, 2 Raven, 2 Pied Wagtail, 1 Greenfinch, 8 Goldfinch

RESERVOIRS:

Chew Valley Lake:

DB Brent Goose – 1 (Not a juv but neck patch is pretty poor so maybe 2nd cyr?), 1 Garganey (jf), 2 Scaup (f), 10 Goldeneye  (7f 3m), 3 Black-necked Grebe, 6 Cattle Egret (HP), 10 Great White Egret (across lake), 4 Little Egret, 4 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Ruff, 10 Snipe, 1 Common Sandpiper (Dam), 3 Green Sandpiper, 2 Spotted Redshank, 1 Yellow-legged Gull. 1 Coal Tit (behind Stratford p****** me off as it calls like a Yellow-Browed Warbler), 1 Grey Wagtail with 2 Pied Wags (Heron's Green),  and the first 2 Siskin of the Autumn - uncommon in the nets. (CVRS)
