A message from Bristol Swifts:
'Just to give you the heads-up. A good mate of mine has just contacted me to say over 4000 swifts an hour have been counted passing over Saint-Pierre la Mer today. That's on the eastern coast of France just north of Barcelona. On the western coast of France at Point de Grave, just up from Bordeaux, almost 8000 have been seen. They should be with us soon, either Monday or Tuesday. Keep your eyes peeled.'
