20-05-19 Monday - Marsh Harrier

Overcast early, clearing to a lovely sunny morning then clouding over again later.  Mild and dry with a moderate NW wind.  Very high tide (just after full moon).

The bird resembling an Italian Sparrow still present on Huyton Road today.
Also there, 1 Peregrine and a few Swifts

Sand Point/Bay:
1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Spotted Flycatcher.

pr. Canada Goose with 5+ goslings, 2 Mute Swan, 90 Shelduck, 22 Mallard, 6 Little Egret, 1 f. Marsh Harrier (quartering low over the Brean side of the R.Axe), 2 Oystercatcher, 4 Whimbrel, 3 Curlew, 72 BH Gull, 7 LBB Gull, 1 GBB Gull.


Bleadon Levels:
pr. Little Grebe with 2 juveniles, Moorhen, 1 Kestrel, 4 Swift, singing Skylark, Swallows, 2-3 singing Sedge Warbler, singing Reed Warbler, 5 singing Whitethroat, 1 singing Chiffchaff, 3+ singing Reed Bunting (and a Brown Hare on the Brean side).
