Obituary
Paul Chadwick died on June 18th. He was a keen birder all his life, widely travelled to birding hotspots around the world but also a keen ringer with a special interest in Willow Warblers. His first published record was in 1949 - four Hawfinch nests found in Leigh Woods (!), he became an editor of the BNS Birds of the Bristol District in 1952 (with H H Davis), and was the Bird Recorder for Avon between 1973 and 1986. He was active all his life, his last record, of Swifts breeding in Henleaze, was received just two months ago
