"In the winter of 1988-9, CVRS were ringing waders on the Severn estuary, south of Clevedon. Most were Dunlin. However, 3 Curlew were also ringed. Over 31 years later, 1 of the 3 Curlew was found 'recently dead' in almost the same place to where it was ringed."
