When the drizzle stopped, the fog came down, and we had both by noon on the Severn.  Mild though, up to 12°C despite a fresh-to-strong westerly wind.

2 Moorhen, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Redshank, 20 BH Gull, 6 Cormorant, pr. Peregrine, various corvids, 1 Blue Tit, 1 Grey Wagtail, 20 Goldfinch.

2 singing Skylark, 1 singing Goldcrest, 1 singing Blackbird, 6 Fieldfare, 2 Song Thrush, 3 Chaffinch, 50 Linnet, 9 Yellowhammer, 8 Reed Bunting (and 4 Roe Deer).

(winter survey) 10 Woodpigeon, 45 Stock Dove, 1 Herring Gull, 5 Magpie, 4 Carrion Crow, 1 Raven, 1 Coal Tit, 2 Blue Tit, 5 Great Tit (singing), 5 Starling, 2 Blackbird, 5 Robin, 6 Dunnock, 1 Chaffinch, 5 Yellowhammer, 1-2 Reed Bunting (and 3 Roe Deer).

2 Shoveler, Woodpigeon carrying nest material, 39 Lapwing, 5 Curlew, 138 BH Gull, 3 Common Gull, 3 Skylark (2 singing), m. Stonechat, pr. Pied Wagtail, Greenfinch (and 4 Hares).

Lower Strode Road:

m. Sparrowhawk, Golden Plover (over).

Blind Yeo:

5 Goosander, 6 Moorhen, 1 Grey Wagtail, c.50 House Sparrow.

Congresbury Moor:

Barn Owl

Uphill:
3 Little Grebe on the Marina pool.
