 Overcast with a warm westerly wind and some clearer spells later.  Dry after overnight rain. Temperature a pleasant 18°C or so.

46 Canada Goose (most on shore), 2 Mute Swan, 70 Shelduck,  26 Mallard (+ 4 juvs.), 18 Gadwall, 4 Shoveler (two pairs), 14 Tufted Duck, 1 Stock Dove, 5 Coot (two broods of 2 and 1), 4 Moorhen, 2 Little Grebe, 2 Oystercatcher, 10 Lapwing (broods of 3 and 2), 1 Grey Heron, 3 Little Egret, 5+ House Martin, 5 singing Reed Warbler, 3 Pied Wagtail, 1 singing Reed Bunting.

Chipping Sodbury - Ridge Woods:
9 Swift, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Green Woodpecker, 4 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Coal Tit, 4 Great Tit, 4 Blue Tit, 1 House Martin, 4 Chiffchaff, 4 Blackcap, 5 Wren, 1 Treecreeper, 1 SongThrush, 1 Dunnock, 2 Bullfinch, 1 Greenfinch.
