10-07-21 Saturday - Spotted Flycatcher

Overcast in Bristol, some rain elsewhere, a little cooler than yesterday: Bristol temperatures 14 to 17°C

10-07-21 juv Kestrel, Clifton Down, Bristol (Ian Loats)

Clifton Down:
1 Buzzard, 4 juv Kestrel, 1 ad m + 1 juv Peregrine, 2 Jay, 4 Chiffchaff

Red-rumped Parrot, Greville Smyth Park, Bristol (John Lewis)
Greville Smyth Park, Ashton:
1 escaped Red-rumped Parrot - first discovered in the park on 16th May. It seems to have settled in the park on the eastern fringe around the Bowling Green. This little parrot is endemic to Australia.

Redland Hill roundabout:
6 House Martin around the usual houses where they nest

Shepperdine:
The first returning Dunlin (an adult)

Oldbury Power Station:
75+ Swift early morning, going NE over the estuary in showers. Also 1 Muntjac 

Pilning Wetland:
6 Avocet  (2 adults + 4 juveniles), 20 Lapwing, 4 Little Ringed Plover, 60 Black-tailed Godwit, 13 Dunlin, 20 Redshank, 1 Green Sandpiper 

Horton Bushes:
Buzzard, 1 Marsh Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Goldcrest, Wren, Treecreeper, Blackbird, Song Thrush, 1 Spotted Flycatcher 

Chipping Sodbury:
Ridge Woods - 1 Stock Dove, 4 Woodpigeon, 1 Herring Gull, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Peregrine ( looked like 2 f + 1 m by size), 3 Magpie, 1 Jackdaw, 1 Rook, 3 Coal Tit, 2 Blue Tit, 5 Great Tit, 4 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap, 5 Wren, 1 Nuthatch, 4 Blackbird (inc 1 juv), 5 Robin (inc 2 juv), 2 House Sparrow, 1Bullfinch 

Filton:
Garden - 2 Collared Dove, 1 f + 1 juv GS Woodpecker, 1 juv Blue Tit, 1 pr Blackbird,  1 ad+ 1 juv  Robin, 2 juv Dunnock, 1 pr Greenfinch, 5 juv Goldfinch
