Oldbury Power Station:
2 Turnstone (first returning birds), 1 ad Black-headed Gull with ring 'T33W' again*, 6 Mistle Thrush, 1 Yellow Wagtail 

* Ringed as an adult (2+ yrs) on 17/3/2012 at Kolobrzeg, Poland (near Polish/German border of Baltic Sea). 770 miles from OPS ! Ring read there in May of 2014, 2016 & 2017, & 13/3/2019. Then on 24/3/2021 it was near Amsterdam, and on 12/6/2021 it had moved 370 miles to Riether Werder, Germany (back on the Polish/German border of Baltic Sea, just 60 miles from place of ringing). So, it had flown 700 miles in 5 weeks to get to OPS, and is at least 11 years old

Strawberry Line - Swift, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Buzzard, 1 Barn Owl roosting in a tree, 4 Swallow, 6 Reed Warbler, 2 Whitethroat, 1 Whinchat*, 20 House Sparrow, 12 Pied Wagtail feeding on insects in recently cut grass, 3 Chaffinch, 1 Greenfinch, 4 Reed Bunting

* The observer comments: Whinchat is an unusual bird here. I saw a male bird within 100 yards of this spot on 9th May
