30-12-21 Thursday - Purple Sandpipers

Incredibly mild for the time of year at 14°C, but mainly wet and dismal with a fresh SW wind.  Some dry spells in the afternoon.

8 Canada Goose, 16 Mute Swan (11 ad., 5 imm.), Mallard, 1 m. Pochard, 8 Tufted Duck (3 m., 5 f.), 
Woodpigeon, 3 Purple Sandpiper, 10 Moorhen, 65 Black-headed Gull, Herring Gulls, 2 Cormorant (probably sinensis), 1 Grey Heron, Carrion Crows, 2 Pied Wagtail.
(No sign of George the Greylag)

Weston-super-Mare (Airfield):
Penduline Tit (wellies recommended)
