20-06-25 Friday - Marsh Harrier

Temp 20°C to 31°C - overcast early, clearing to sunshine later.  Hot and sultry after a fresher start. The light and variable breeze has shifted mainly to the south and east.

Too hot to do anything but count Swifts, apparently!  Montpelier (c.20), Warmley (three), Yate (8), Keynsham (16, probably including juvs. now on the wing), Stroud yesterday (11), North Worle (17+), Cheddar (12) and Burnham-on-Sea (4-5).

(early morning walk before it got too hot!)

Dipper, 1 Grey Wagtail.
