13-03-26 Friday

Temp 04°C to 08°C - cloudy with some heavy showers in the am, more sun in the pm. A moderate to strong W/SW wind with gusts to 37mph.

It is not too long until the annual Breeding Bird Surveys will be carried out. These surveys provide crucial and interesting information about our breeding birds. There are some unallocated squares in the Avon BBS area (which includes some in Somerset). Please click this link to see which squares are currently available. If you are interested the contact details are also on the link.

There is also an upcoming Birds in Green Spaces survey where you records the birds you see in your local park or similar area.
