Portbury Wharf:
1 sub-adult Spoonbill -  landed briefly on the North Pool island at 13.50. It then took off again and circled high over the reserve before heading north towards the estuary (NB a Spoonbill reported flying over the Brue Estuary, Burnham, later in afternoon - same bird?)

Also:  4 Oystercatcher (2 nesting pairs N & S Pool islands), 1 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Lapwing, 1 Redshank, 13 Black-headed Gulls (all 1st summer birds), 1 Yellow-legged Gull again (briefly), 3 Great Black-backed Gull (inc.a courting pair), 1 Little Owl, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 1  Blue-headed Wagtail (North Pool island) .

Drove Rhine-  4 Gadwall (2 pairs, one with 7+ ducklings), 1 Grey Heron, 4 Buzzard, 3 Reed Warbler.
