Oldbury Power Station:
2 Canada Goose, 2 Tufted Duck, 1 Buzzard, 1 Jay, 3 Swallow, 7 Chiffchaff, 1 Reed Warbler, 1 Blackcap, 3 Whitethroat, 1 Greenfinch, 2 Reed Bunting.


New Passage/Northwick:
Little Ringed Plover, Ruff, Snipe. many Swallow, Sand Martin, Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Wheatear. 2 White Wagtail, small party Redpoll over.


Severn Beach:
1 Common Sandpiper. 2 Redshank.


Chipping Sodbury Common:
3 Kestrel, many Skylark, 2 Whinchat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 5 Whitethroat, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, many Linnet, Bullfinch, Reed Bunting.



NORTH SOMERSET

Portbury Wharf:
(yesterday, 2nd May) 4 Whimbrel, 1 Barn Owl.

2 Hobby, 1 Whinchat, 1 Wheatear.


Clevedon-Yeo:
Dowlais Lane:
Buzzard, Kestrel, 8 Lapwing with at least 5 juvs (probably 2 broods), 15 Whimbrel along the tideline, 1 Snipe, 5 Redshank, 1 Spotted Redshank, 1 Swift, 3+ Swallow, 1 Sand Martin, singing Whitethroat.

Channel View to R. Yeo:
1 Little Grebe, 4 Coot, 25 Ringed Plover, 1 GBB Gull, 1 Swift, 1 Kestrel, 1 Hobby, 10 Skylark, 4 Sedge Warbler, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Whitethroat, 4 Wheatear, 12 Linnet, 2 Reed Bunting.

Harvey's walk all the way down:
8 Mute Swan, 6 Canada Goose, 70 Shelduck (30 on Dowlais), 1 f. Teal or Garganey in brief flight, 1 m. Congresbury - Strawberry Line:
2 Grey Heron, 4 Cetti's Warbler, Sedge Warbler,  Lesser Whitethroat, 5 Bullfinch.
Lots of Chiffchaff, Whitethroat, Blackcap and Reed Warbler singing.

Blagdon:
f. Mallard with 6 juvs., 2 Common Sandpiper, 7 Curlew/Whimbrel passing over (were probably Whimbrel), 2 Hobby, 1 Kingfisher,  Flock of c. 50 martins including at least 20 Sand Martin.
