KENTISH PLOVER - one found on the falling tide (Paul Chapman) in Channel View Bay, Kingston Seymour first thing in the morning. Less than 20 records in the Avon area: last one 2011. ABR gives 2011 bird as fifteenth for Avon area; newly-published Rare Birds in Avon (April 2018) by Richard Mielcarek cites 18 previous records.
Still present in evening (19.20), viewed from gate at ST375676
