Another grey and blustery day with a strong south wind not quite bringing rain.

SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE

Oldbury Power Station:
1 Little Egret, 1 Buzzard, 37 Stock Dove, 1 Kestrel, 1 Peregrine, 4 Swallow, 3 House Martin, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 8 Blackcap, 21 Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler.


NORTH SOMERSET

Gordano:
Weston Moor:

Clevedon-Yeo (Dowlais pools):

Woodspring Bay (Yeo to Banwell WeBS count):
(yesterday, Monday 16th)
7 Canada Goose, 8 Shelduck, 7 Mallard, 1 Cormorant, 26 Oystercatcher, 6 Snipe, 1 Common Sandpiper, 56 Redshank, 1 Curlew (and more visible N of the Yeo), 8 Whimbrel, 50 LBB Gull, 17 H Gull, 8 Wheatear, no visible hirundine passage.


Nailsea:
Nowhere Wood:
Male Pied Flycatcher.


Kings Wood and Wavering Down (BOC walk):
Buzzard, Stock Dove, Green Woodpecker, 2 Swallow, 2 Tree Pipits (one lucky wanderer), Wren, Robin, 7 Blackcap, 7+ Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler singing, 2+ Nuthatch, Treecreeper, Jay, Raven, Jackdaws.  A nice surprise were 3 flyover Cranes but they were too high for the observers to determine whether or not they were wearing the WWT colours.

3 Mallard, Stock Dove, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, Grey Wagtail, 1 Wheatear, 5+ Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Coal Tit, Treecreeper, 3 Nuthatch.


Willsbridge:
1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Mistle Thrush, 3 Coal Tit, 4 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Goldfinch.


Midford:
Tucking Mill Reservoir:
1 Willow Warbler, 1 Marsh Tit.


RESERVOIRS:

Barrow Tanks:
1 ad. m. Long-tailed Duck (tank no 1, coming into summer plumage), 3 Common Sandpiper, c. 70
hirundines in mixed flock.


Blagdon Lake:
