Oldbury Power Station:
25 Canada Goose, 16 Shelduck (plus two broods of 7 and 6), 8 Tufted Duck (and a brood of 9), 2 Buzzard, 1 Peregrine, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Curlew, 90 Black-headed Gull, 16 Swallow, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 16 Reed Warbler (lots of juvs.), 1 Blackcap, 3 Whitethroat.


New Passage/Northwick Warth:
pr Shelduck + 17 juv., 1 Little Egret, Little Ringed Plover, 3 ad. Dunlin, 2 Common Sandpiper, 5 Curlew, 35 ad. Redshank, 75 BH Gull, 1 Coal Tit + juv.


Cromhall, Wotton-under-Edge:
Red Kite.


Frampton Cotterell:
19 Swift over St. Peter's church, 1 Green Woodpecker.



NORTH SOMERSET

Portishead:
a juv. Pheasant in my suburban garden - safer here than up by Weston Woods where it's likely to get shot.


Clevedon-Yeo:
25 Mute Swan, 4 Canada Goose, 70+ Shelduck (with broods of 9, 7, 7 and 3, only the last new), 80 Mallard, 12+ Tufted Duck, 3 Little Egret, 3 Grey Heron, 4+ Coot, 11 Oystercatcher (possibly breeding), 14 Lapwing, 34 Curlew, 3 Black-tailed Godwit, 38 Redshank, 140 Black-headed Gull, 20+ LBB Gull, 20+ Herring Gull, 1 GBB Gull, 1 Swift, 30+ Swallow, 1 Cetti's Warbler.


Kingston Seymour:
(BBS) 2 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 1 Lapwing over, 1 Stock Dove, 1 Green Woodpecker, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 8 Swallow, 3 Reed Warbler singing, 1 Blackcap singing, 2 Chiffchaff singing, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 25 Goldfinch + usual common species.


Banwell:
f. Mallard accompanied by 7 juvs., 2 Buzzard, 2 Stock Dove, 6 Swift, 1 Raven, singing Blackcap, singing Chiffchaff, scores of House Sparrow, calling Bullfinch.
