Dowlais - a Carrion Crows put 18 Lapwing up. At least 6 were this year's birds which must have learnt to fly during the week.
Also 1 Banded Demoiselle, unusual here

Worlebury Hill Road - 35 Woodpigeon, 4 Collared Dove, 12 Swift, 2 Long Tailed Tit and nest (!), 2 Song Thrush, 1 Greenfinch

St John's - 3 Peregrine chick semi-fledged to the roof of the nest box.

Willsbridge:
4 Buzzard, 6 Swift, - plus a cast of Gull and Corvid, all after the flying insects

Chew Valley Ringing Station - Reed Warblers are busy. 47 nests with full or partial clutches have been found within the CVRS recording area, 7 of these have had broods ringed. Some juvs have already left their nests.
