Fine, sunny and baking hot - birders must have been deeply grateful for the easterly breeze.

Oldbury Power Station:
Brood of Shelduck, 4 broods of Tufted Duck, 11 Whitethroat, 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Coal Tit,  juv. Cetti's Warbler calling.
Yacht Club: 3 Redshank, 2 Lapwing.


New Passage/Northwick:
62 Shelduck, 1♂ Teal, 4 Little Ringed Plover, 18 Curlew, 215 Black-headed Gull.

Severn Beach: (27th June)
23 Black-headed Gull.


Bradley Brook LNR, Winterbourne:
1 Little Owl, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Raven, 3 Swallow, 3 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap, 1 Whitethroat, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Song Thrush, 1 Mistle Thrush, 2 Bullfinch (1 m., 1 juv).

14 Mute Swan, 6 Canada Goose, 75 Shelduck (broods/creches 13+7+9+12), 60+ Mallard (new brood of 7), 2 Tufted Duck, 1 Cormorant, 2 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 1 imm. Peregrine, 4 Coot, 10 Oystercatcher, 5 Grey Plover (2 in full summer plumage; good count here), 1 Lapwing, 3 imm. Little Ringed Plover, 1+ Whimbrel, 70 Curlew, 2 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper, 55 Redshank, 100+ Black-headed Gull (one juv.), 10 Swallow, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Reed Warbler singing.

Clevedon:
15 Swift in the ctr just after 21:00.
