pr. Mute Swan, Shoveler, Gadwall, 500+ Wigeon, Mallard, Teal, c.200 Lapwing, c.10 Curlew, c.75 Black-tailed Godwit, 10-15 Dunlin, < 10 Snipe, Redshank, 6 Stock Dove (top NE end), 1 f. Merlin
Balcony birds today - Coal Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long-tailed Tit, 1 Nuthatch, and some cautious Chaffinch that stayed in the bushes.
Lots of fishermen and no sign of Purple Sandpipers.
Female Blackcap in my Redcliff Bay garden, the first seen there for some weeks - the mid-autumn males were apparently just passing through.
