I ringed this Nuthatch in my garden near to Battery Point this morning. A probable female on winglength – 82mm.
The only Nuthatch record in the last two years of ringing here.

No sign of the adult male Lesser Scaup today - it's probably gone to Blashford Lakes where one has been seen in recent days (KEV).

The lane from Moreton to Stratford is very muddy from the hedge cutting, lots of birds are taking advantage of the disturbed soil on the lane including the Stonechat.
