Early singing birds: Chiffchaff, Blackcap, 2 Redwing (from flock of 20)

Coombe Dingle:
Mistle Thrush (singing)
Garden: 2 Bullfinch, 1 Chaffinch, 2 Goldfinch, 2 Blackcap (singing m and f), 2 Dunnock, 2 Blue Tit, 2 LT Tit, 1 Robin, (bird numbers on feeders fallen dramatically since the spell of mild weather)

Old Sneed Park, Local Nature Reserve:1 Chiffchaff - singing

1 Yellow-legged Gull (probable YL, hoping for Caspian), 2 Chiffchaff (singing)

Any opinions on the gull? YL has yellow eye, Caspian flatter forehead.

2 Little Egret, 140 Shelduck, 80 Redshank, 40 Oystercatcher, 40 Dunlin (-1; watched a superb adult male Sparrowhawk take a Dunlin on the wing), 1 Short-eared Owl (came out to hunt at 15.35), 1 Raven
