3 Cattle Egret, 4 Great White Egret, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Stonechat (f&m), 10 Crossbill - at least, flew over mid morning, briefly alighted in the conifers opposite Moreton Cottage entrance. Birds came from the north west calling excitedly. A rare species here.
