Close to freezing at the start, warming up markedly mid-morning. Bristol temperatures 1 - 10.6°C

1 Buzzard, 1 GS Woodpecker, 2 Jay, 8 LTT, 3 Coal Tit, 2 Blue Tit, 1 Treecreeper,  1 Nuthatch, 1 Grey Wagtail
near Grove Road - second tit flock-  10 Blue Tit, 4 Great Tit, 2 Goldfinch.  (Frustratingly, no sign of yesterday's Firecrest with either flock)

1 Barn Owl - sighted at approx. 2300hrs on 4th December  on the Nailsea side of SS Quiricus and Julietta Church, Tickenham, on the left hand side of the causeway with your back to the church (Tickenham Moor ?)

1 Tawny Owl calling in the vicinity of Holy Trinity Church at approx. 0100hrs
