Coombe Dingle:
Garden - 1 Green Woodpecker, not seen in garden for several years, so a welcome pre-Christmas present. Also 3 Blue Tit, Great Tit, 2 Blackcap (m, f), several Blackbird, Robin, 1 Dunnock,  5 Greenfinch, 2 Chaffinch, 4 Goldfinch

Moreton:
5 (2x 1w drk and 3f ) Scaup, 1 Black-necked Grebe, 2 Marsh Harrier (juvenile and an older bird), 1 Reed Warbler, first noted by R.Mielcarek. First two letters on ring are AY. Winter records in UK  are very unusual (one at CVL Jan 2015).

Avon Bird Report 2015 says: 'According to the BTO there is one previous record of this species being ringed in January ( a bird in Hertfordshire in 1981) whilst there are two records of birds ringed in December (2000 and 2003), underlining this as an exceptional occurrence.'
