Sunshine for a change, although a brisk NE wind kept the temperature down.  Cloudier in the afternoon.

Blackcap (singing along the Bridleway), 1 singing Corn Bunting.


New Passage/Northwick:
1 Spoonbill, (12:25, briefly), 4 Avocet, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 24 Black-tailed Godwit, 1467 Woodpigeon and 1007 Meadow Pipit on passage, Kestrel, Peregrine, 20+ Sand Martin, 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Stonechat, 1 Siskin, 17 Linnet.  (Yesterday: Water Pipit)

Casual window-watching, 8-9 a.m. : 500 Woodpigeons flying up the Severn into the NE wind.
