Marshfield - from a local :
Linnet-loads around this year. Small groups and pairs both north and south of the village.
Corn Bunting- rarely out of earshot anywhere from Down Road to Rushmead Farm and Rushmead lane, spreading south of the A 420 and to Shire Valley. Good numbers also Middledown Lane.
Skylark-very healthy numbers. Singing above virtually every field in the same areas as Corn Bunting
Yellowhammer-common but tend to stick to specific areas, some are still in small groups, Northfield Lane and Down Road best.
No Grey Partridge but a few Red-legged have remained unshot!
Raven and Buzzard very common.
