Notice to all bird-watcher permit holders from Bristol Water

Bird-watching continues to be suspended at the lakes until further notice. We are adopting a phased return to services at the lakes. We appreciate that lots of keen bird-watchers want to get back out to explore our special sites but we are sadly not currently in a position to re-open for this activity. There are some particular challenges such as bird hide access arrangements that require careful thought and planning before reopening. Our team are working as quickly as possible, under challenging circumstances, to get this service back up and running.

We appreciate that this may be frustrating but it's really important that we get it right first time to ensure your safety and that of our staff. Further updates to follow next week.
