A fine and sunny day but the cold, blustery NE wind may have kept some birders at home.

Coombe Dingle to Henbury golf course and Blaise:
2 Stock Dove, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Jay, 5 Magpie, 1 Raven, 2 Blue Tit, 1 Blackcap, 5 Wren, 5 Blackbird, 2 Song Thrush, 3 Mistle Thrush (2 adults with 1 juv.), 2 Robin.

Hanham:
Red Kite.

Kingsdown to Clifton Downs:
2 Peregrine (male flying and perching on Bristol side; female mainly on nest)
Group of 12 Starling near Spire Hospital.

Stoke Gifford:
Red Kite.
