Cameley - garden ringing session:
Surprised to catch a Blackbird that I’d ringed in August 2014 and not seen since. For the last few weeks I’ve been hearing one singing with a short passage of Partridge song in the middle of its repertoire. Mr Blackbird certainly didn’t learn that hereabouts so he must be a migrant, possibly from the eastern side of the country: maybe the bird that I caught today.
Also first juv Goldfinch of the year.
